Fellow literary icon J.K. Rowling, however, gets the horror fiction maestro's back and offers to send him screenshots of Trump's tweets through direct messaging.

AceShowbiz - After months of criticizing Donald Trump, Stephen King had to face an unfortunate news on Tuesday, June 13. The best-selling author took to Twitter to say that the POTUS had blocked him from his personal account on the site.

"Trump has blocked me from reading his tweets. I may have to kill myself," King wrote on Twitter, feeling despondent. "Blocked! Condemned to an existential wasteland of Trumplessness!" the author later added in another tweet.

The president seemingly decided to block King after the "It" author offered condemnation over Trump's cabinet through his tweet just few hours earlier. "Trump's cabinet offers a postgraduate-level course in ass-kissing," said the horror fiction maestro. He also took a jab at Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump in another tweet that day.

However, King doesn't have to worry about losing access to see the president's tweets. Fellow literary icon and another prominent Trump critic, "Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling, came to the rescue. "I still have access. I'll DM them to you," wrote the author.

King was not the only one who got blocked by the president. Hours before @realDonaldTrump blocked King's Twitter account, it blocked VoteVets, a progressive advocacy group that claims to represent more than 500,000 veterans, military families and supporters.
