The 28-year-old rapper, who is currently filming a new drama, says that he will begin his mandatory military service this summer.

AceShowbiz - It seems like fans have to bid farewell to Taecyeon of 2PM soon. At the group's "6NIGHTS" concert on Sunday, June 11, the "Hands Up" hitmaker announced that he would begin his mandatory military after he finished filming his new drama.

JYP Entertainment hasn't released an official statement regarding the members' enlistment, but it looks like Taecyeon would be the first one to go. "I am currently filming a drama from OCN called 'Save Me'," Taecyeon said. "I think it'll probably air after I enlist so if you miss me, please watch the drama for me." "Save Me" will start airing in August.

The concert was attended by 2AM's members Jo Kwon and Jinwoon. The two took to Instagram to reminisce about the days they and 2PM's members spent together before their debut. Both of them posted a backstage photo with Wooyoung, Junho, Jun.K, Nichkhun and Taecyeon. "Our trainee days, 'Hot Blood Men' [pre-debut reality show with 2PM], and #2am #2pm. They are family that I've spent my teens and my twenties with. We are family. I'll always support you guys," Jo Kwon wrote in the caption.

Jinwoon also said how attending the concert made him think about the old days. He wrote, "#2pm #2am They've worked so hard until the last concert. As the concert was about to end, more and more of our memories together came to my mind. You've all worked so hard!"
