Janet is reportedly 'awe-inspired' by her niece Paris Jackson and wants to return to the big screen.

AceShowbiz - Report says that Oprah Winfrey may share screen with Janet Jackson in an upcoming movie. According to National Enquirer, Janet is "awe-inspired" by her niece Paris Jackson, who is "firing up the headlines." The tabloid reports that Janet wants a spotlight for herself and is "secretly plotting" with Oprah to "give Michael's [Jackson] teen daughter a run for her money" and "[knock her out] at Hollywood's box office."

A source claims to National Enquirer that Janet is "itching to get back onto the big screen" and "huddling round-the-clock with Oprah, who's dying to produce her comeback." The outlet further says that Janet is "not only determined to act, [but] she's actually aiming for an Oscar! And with Oprah in her corner, anything's possible!"

However, Gossip Cop has debunked the report and said that it is "not true." The site affirms that "while it's possible Janet could add acting to her plate at some point, particularly since she already has a few films under her belt, there is nothing currently in the works with Oprah."

Oprah was last seen playing Deborah Lacks in TV movie "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks". She also appeared in several episodes of "Greenleaf" as Mavis McCready. Oprah will next star alongside Reese Witherspoon and Mindy Kaling in Ava DuVernay's "A Wrinkle in Time".

Janet's movie credits include "Why Did I Get Married?" (2007) and its sequel "Why Did I Get Married Too?" (2010). She currently "has her hands full with her son, who is not even 6-months-old yet, and the resumption of her world tour. That doesn't leave much time to film a movie."
