AceShowbiz - First Lady Melania Trump has finally moved into the White House with her 11-year-old son, Barron. After living apart from President Donald Trump for nearly five months, the 47-year-old left her $100 million New York City penthouse to permanently reside with her husband.

The FLOTUS made the announcement via Twitter on Sunday, June 11. Shortly after her arrival, she documented the view from her new home on the micro-blogging site. "Looking forward to the memories we'll make in our new home!" so she wrote, adding the hashtag #Movingday.

Following her husband inauguration in January, it's believed that Melania Trump chose to continue living in Trump Tower with his son to avoid disrupting the boy's schooling. In April, a White House official confirmed that the first lady and her son would join the president at the end of the school year, noting, "that has always been the plan."

Barron is the first boy to live in the White House since John F. Kennedy Jr. lived there in 1963 at the age of three. He was pictured arriving at the White House aboard Marine One with his parents and multiple pieces of luggage. Melania's parents, Victor and Amalija Knav, were also on board the helicopter.
