The 'Modern Family' beauty takes it to Twitter to hit back at her estranged mother for criticizing her revealing look.

AceShowbiz - Ariel Winter fired back at her estranged mother, Chrisoula. The "Modern Family" actress who was emancipated from her mom back in 2015 after abuse allegations broke her silence after Chrisoula slammed the actress' revealing look.

"She needs to grow up. I would tell her to dress properly, be the beautiful person she is. I feel sad that she feels the need to expose herself when it's not necessary," Chrisoula told In Touch Weekly. "Ariel is smart, beautiful and talented. She is a legitimate actress. She does not need to do this. She is beautiful with her clothes on."

Ariel, now 19, quickly responded on Twitter, "What's sad is that you lie consistently. Also, why is it that you only choose to talk to me through the press? I'm doing just fine." She added, "Toxic." She also posted a "yourbodyisYOURS" message on Instagram.
