The former pro soccer player and the 'Late Late Show' host end up playing completely different roles after they try to sabotage each other's audition.

AceShowbiz - There were rumors that mentioned David Beckham as one of the contenders to be the next James Bond. Though the British hunk has denied the speculations, he's apparently up for the coveted role as he joined the audition for Bond along with James Corden in a skit that aired on "The Late Late Show" on Thursday night, June 8.
The tension between the two sparked as soon as they knew that both of them eyed the same part. Not playing it fair, Beckham tried to ruin Corden's audition by trading his suit with a baby blue suit, which Corden claimed made him look like Austin Powers.
Things only got nastier from there. When they had to act out a scene in which they tried to seduce a Bond girl, Beckham interrupted Corden's audition by introducing himself to the woman. Later during the former soccer star's turn, Corden pranked his rival by dressing up as the Bond girl.
Their rivalry turned physical in the latter audition, when Corden mocked Beckham's pronunciation of James Bond. They slapped each other and threw drinks on each other's face, until they were deemed unprofessional and neither of them got the role.
Realizing that they should've teamed up instead of fighting each other, they decided to make another movie, "Batman & Robin".
Thursday marked the last night Corden hosted his Los Angeles-based show in London. He has been hosting "The Late Late Show with James Corden" in his hometown for three consecutive nights.
