George's father Nick Clooney reveals that he and his wife Nina were introduced to the twins via Skype two hours after Amal gave birth on Tuesday.

AceShowbiz - George Clooney and his wife Amal introduced their twin children, Alexander and Ella, to his parents, Nick Clooney and Nina Warren, via Skype just two hours after Amal gave birth to the babies on Tuesday, June 6. In an interview with FOX19 NOW, Nick couldn't help gushing about his new grandchildren.

Nick said the babies were "doing well" and they have dark hair. "They are gorgeous," he said, "Nina swears they have George's nose. I don't know what that means." The 83-year-old journalist added, "Not both of them, one of them. The little boy looked like he had [George’s] nose. His little profile."

"And I love their names Alexander and Ella. Both sound terrific," he went on gushing, before praising his daughter-in-law. "Amal, who is Super Woman, she is just amazing," Nick said. "The babies are beautiful, of course, she's beautiful. She was telling us last week that she is as big as a house. Of course, for her, that's a very small house. But, she's great."

Nick also cracked a joke about his son, "George, well, his eyes were glazed so I'm not sure that he was sober. We'll figure that out." Though they're excited about the twins' arrival, Nick and Nina, who are based in Kentucky, won't be rushing overseas to meet them. "They have enough on their plate to have some visiting grandparents coming in to London," Nick explained. "So we'll leave that one entirely up to them."

On Tuesday, Amal's parents, Bara and Ramzi Alamuddin, also expressed their joy at the babies' arrival. "We are over the moon. It was a beautiful delivery. The babies are beautiful and are doing well," Bara, who was in London with George and Amal, told French publication AFP.

On how the new parents spent their first day with their first son and daughter, a source reveals to E! News, "George is on cloud nine and hasn't left Amal's side," adding that "everyone is healthy and very happy." The source adds, "They have received gifts from friends around the world and have a lot to bring home with them."
