George Clooney Gets Travel Ban From Wife Amal as They Await Twins' Arrival

The 'Ocean's Eleven' star reveals his wife would never forgive him if he misses out on the birth of their children, who are expected to be born in June.

AceShowbiz - George Clooney and wife Amal are soon to be parents. While the couple counts down the days to the arrival of their twins, Amal "banned" him from attending this year's Aurora Humanitarian prize ceremony in Armenia over the weekend as she wanted her actor husband to always be by her side.

George gave a video address at the award ceremony of the Aurora Price for Awakening Humanity last Sunday night, May 28 when he joked about his travel ban. The 56-year-old actor told the audience that Amal would never forgive him if he missed out on the birth of the twins. "I really would have been [in Yerevan] but if I came there and my wife had twins while I was there, I could never come home," he said.

Amal is due to give birth in June, though pediatricians say twins often come early. The couple is reportedly in a full nesting mode as the countdown continues for the arrival of their little ones. "They're counting down [the days] and pretty much at the edge of their seats," a source previously told E! News. "Every day, one of them is like, 'It's going to be today. I can feel it' and then it doesn't happen."

Amal's pregnancy news broke in February when "The Talk" host Julie Chen announced it on TV. Rumors about the twins' sex have since been swirling, with some sources claiming the couple is having a boy and a girl.
