AceShowbiz - Are our eyes deceiving us? Nicki Minaj mysteriously smiled during Miley Cyrus' performance at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards, and fans are freaking out. Some say that the two stars have put their feud behind, but some consider the smile to be a major shade at Miley.
So this is what happened. By the end of her sweet performance of new song "Malibu", Miley held back her tears as she thanked the audiences. While the crowd cheered on her for the wonderful delivery, Nicki gave a subtle laugh and mysterious toothy grin. Although she applauded and was all smiles, the side-eye look and the grin could mean anything.
However, many people consider the smile and the applause to be Nicki's sincere expression, which could mark the end of their feud.

Nicki and Miley's beef began in 2015 when Miley spoke out about the "No Frauds" hitmaker to the press regarding Nicki's lack of nomination for her song "Anaconda" on MTV VMAs. The raptress later clapped back at Miley, saying, "And now, back to this b***h that had a lot to say about me the other day in the press." She roared, "Miley, what's good?"
The feud aside, both Nicki and Miley gave their best performance at the award-giving event. Nicki opened the show with a medley of her hit songs, including "No Frauds", "Regret in Your tears", "Swalla" and "Light My Body Up". Meanwhile, Miley showed off her sweet charms on the stage. She sang a new version, country-tinged "Malibu" that evening.
