Dwayne Johnson jokes about running for president with the 'Sully' actor during his monologue on the season finale of 'Saturday Night Live'.

AceShowbiz - Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson announced his run for president when hosting "Saturday Night Live" over the weekend. During his monologue on the show's season finale, the wrestler-turned-actor revealed fellow actor Tom Hanks as his running mate.

"Now, in the past, I would have never considered running for president. I didn't think I was qualified at all, but now I'm actually worried that I'm too qualified," The Rock quipped. Hanks chimed in, "Dwayne, I could not possibly turn this down. The truth is, America really needs us. I have been in two movies where a plane crashes, and people are still happy to see me on their flight."

The "Sully" actor was not the only special guest that night. Scarlett Johansson was also back as Ivanka Trump. She performed "Hallelujah" with Alec Baldwin's Donald Trump, Cecily Strong's Melanie Trump, Alex Moffat's Eric Trump, Mikey Day's Donald Jr., Kate McKinnon's Kellyanne Conway, Aidy Bryant's Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Beck Bennett's Vladamir Putin, and Steve Bannon or the Grim Reaper.
