The girlfriend of The Weeknd has posted several photos which reveal the lyrics of her new song and a snippet which previews the catchy music, along with an enigmatic pic of herself.

AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez couldn't wait another day! The songstress has taken to her Instagram account to share a series of photos which hint at the lyrics of her new song "Bad Liar" which will be released on Thursday, May 18.

She has caused a mass hysteria on social media when she shares the following lines: "Trying not to think about you," "Trying to play it coy," and "Trying to distract myself." They are all written on a clear mirror with a bright red lipstick.

Selena also previews the music of "Bad Liar" which seems to be taken from the hook. The snippet finds the music being played in front of an old-school TV. With catchy sound of bass and clapping, we can already guess that the upcoming single would be a sexy and playful anthem.

However, our guesses could be completely wrong as Selena later uploads a gloomy snap of herself and simply captions it, "#BadLiar 5.18." The photo sees the former Disnet darling lying on her side, looking devastated with bandages on her wrist. She also wears "Risk" bracelet as if she's a suicidal hospital patient.

Fans quickly observe this detail and wonder if the snap is taken from a music video for "Bad Liar" or whether the new music has something to do with the Netflix series Selena co-produces, "13 Reasons Why".

As it becomes more mysterious, we will know for sure tomorrow when the track arrives. "Bad Liar" is expected to be another hit from Selena as it will compete on the chart with other songs like Miley Cyrus' "Malibu", Iggy Azalea's "Switch", Liam Payne's "Strip That Down" and Camila Cabello's "Crying in the Club".
