AceShowbiz - Ciara proved she didn't care about haters saying that Russell Wilson isn't Future Zahir Wilburn's father and posted on Instagram Story a touching video of her son celebrating Mother's Day with the 28-year-old football player by his side. Russell was earlier criticized after referring to the 4-year-old as one of "our kids" while he's actually Ciara's child with ex-fiance Future.
In the video, Future Jr. gave the "Sorry" hitmaker a rose as a Mother's Day gift. The NFL star was sitting right next to him, smiling so lovingly at Future as he talked.
Previously, Russell posted a photo of himself with Ciara and captioned it, "Nothing better than spending time with you. You are an amazing mom & I'm so grateful I get to spend the rest of my life with you & raising our kids. I love you! #HappyMothersDay Weekend my love. @Ciara."
Many fans thought he disrespected Future who's the biological father of Future Jr. "You gotta think how @future thinks. He still has a kid that's not yours and no matter what you have to respect that as a man @dangerusswilson," a fan wrote. "Ur kid not our kids baby future is future child," another added.
However, some other fans admired him for loving little Future like his own son. "That's what a step-parent does. You love that child as if their your own," a fan commented. Another said, "Future should be happy that his child has a stepfather that cares. We all know things sometimes go the other way."
Ciara and Russell welcomed their first child together, Sienna Princess Wilson, on Friday, April 28.
