The new song will be featured on the One Direction star's upcoming debut solo album which is expected to arrive this year.

AceShowbiz - In anticipation of the release of his debut solo album, Niall Horan has debuted new song titled "On the Loose". He performed the fun song, along with his other solo tracks "Slow Hands" and "This Town", at Channel 933's Summer Kick Off concert in San Diego last weekend.

The new single seems to be inspired by Fleetwood Mac as it has similar vibes with the rock band's music. Niall showcases his seductive power on the breezy rock and roll/pop track as he sings about a cheerful girl who catches his attention.

"I know what she's like/ She's out of her mind/ And wraps herself around the truth/ She'll jump on that flight and meet you that night/ Make you tear up the room," Niall sings. "Yeah, she loves when everybody's watching/ She knows the way her body moves/ She loves the way they all crawl back when she says/ She loves nobody else but you."

Following the live-debut of "On the Loose", Niall took the stage at Wango Tango festival in Los Angeles to deliver another performance of the track. He was supported by his fellow bandmate Liam Payne who attended the festival to cheer him on.

Niall later took to Twitter to share a photo of his reunion with Liam. He captioned the pic, "Great to see Payno today. Here I am being christened with 'the chain'. Miss ya buddie."

Niall recently confirmed that he was added to performer lineup of Capital's Summertime Ball in London on June 10. He admitted that he was nervous about performing on the upcoming event. "You're stepping out in front of 80,000 people, it's going to be scary! But you have to relish it at the same time, you know they're your songs, people know them that are coming to watch because they listen to the station, they're going to have a good day and you're amongst a great line-up," he shared.
