The Peacock pulls the plug on the DC comedy series starring Vanessa Hudgens and the crime thriller led by Ryan Eggold.

AceShowbiz - The impending cancellation of "Powerless" is finally made officially by NBC. The Vanessa Hudgens-starring comedy that takes place within the world of DC Universe gets benched after one season only. The remaining episodes have been pulled from rotation since April. It's unclear if they will ever be aired or will go straight to DVD instead.

The Peacock is also saying goodbye to another freshman "The Blacklist: Redemption". Ryan Eggold who played the lead role will relocate back to the main show, "The Blacklist", which was recently picked up for season 5.

Eggold left "Blacklist" after season 3 to lead "Redemption". After a big revelation, his character Tom teams up with his mother to employ their unique skills and resources in a dangerous world of deadly criminals. While doing so, he begins his own covert mission to find out more about his shadowy past.
