The two stars, who have been together for 33 years, accept their stars on Hollywood Walk of Fame in a rare joint ceremony and think that the ceremony feels like an actual wedding.

AceShowbiz - Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell were honored with dual stars on Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, May 4. After 33 years being together, this was the first time the couple had a wedding-like ceremony. Kate Hudson, Reese Witherspoon and Quentin Tarantino attended the event to give a speech dedicated to the two.

The pair shared a sweet kiss at the podium before starting their speeches. Goldie said, "Can we just get married? We've never had a celebration like this before." She then continued by thanking her family. "Thank you to my beautiful daughter and my other beautiful daughter," she said, before adding, "That star is part of 'yes.' I really went through something then because I didn't know what it meant to be a star when people didn't know who I was. I said yes to Kurt Russell. I said yes to Bill Hudson and without Bill I wouldn't have had Katie and Oliver. I wish my mom and my dad could see me."

Kurt also thanked his family, particularly his mother and sisters who were present. "I owe a special debt of appreciation to my family. Thanks to my kids Boston, Oliver, Kate and Wyatt. Any father would be blessed to be gifted with the lifetime you have brought me," he said. "Goldie, to you, I owe my wonderful life. I cherish you. All of the stars in the sky or the boulevard don't hold a candle to that. There's no one else I'd rather be next to than Goldie Hawn."

Prior to their speeches, Goldie's daughter Kate Hudson delivered a sweet speech at the podium as well. "I was slotted in to talk about my mother, but I have two parents and they're both here. I always thought I'd be talking about them at a wedding or something," she joked. "But since a wedding doesn't seem to be in our near future, this seems to be my only opportunity." Kate talked about how her parents managed to "maintain normalcy" with their children despite their careers. "They never hid away their love for making movies. For me and my brother, we grew up with artists. These shining stars standing next to me, their real legacy is what they've instilled in us kids," she added.

Reese Witherspoon expressed her love and respect for "The First Wives Club" actress in her speech. "The first time I ever fell in love with a movie star was Goldie Hawn. She's continued to inspire me in my entire career. She is a true movie star," Reese shared. She then revealed that she always thought of Goldie before accepting any role. "Every career choice I think, 'Would Goldie approve of this?' " she said, before concluding, "Thank you for making us laugh, she has lit up my life. She's changed my life and she's quite simply my idol. I love you Goldie."
