After taking a sip of the sugary masterpiece, which Starbucks says is 'made to be Instagrammed,' the host can't help but say, 'I wish I was dead.'

AceShowbiz - As Starbucks' new limited-edition drink called Unicorn Frappuccino has been generating a lot of buzz lately, Stephen Colbert decides to try the "made to be Instagrammed" drink live in Thursday, April 20 episode of "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert". "It's called Unicorn Frappuccino because 'Sugary Affront to God' was taken," Colbert explained.

He added, "I have no idea how many unicorns they're grinding up for these things, but I'm guessing PETA is furious." Before taking a sip of the sugary masterpiece, the host examined the ingredients listed in the Starbucks press release. "It's made with a sweet dusting of pink powder, blended into a creme Frappuccino with mango syrup and layered with a pleasantly sour blue powder topping," he explained.

Later, the staff handed him the highly-talked Frap which color Colbert described like a "Tumor." He tasted the Unicorn Frap for the first time live on air, and maybe for the last time, before he said, "Oh, I wish I was dead." He went on joking, "Tastes like I French-kissed Tinker Bell."

Realizing that some people might perceive his remarks in a different way, he quickly explained himself, "That's not weird." He added, "She's an adult, she's just very small," which didn't make anything better.

"Take this away before I say something else incriminating," he concluded his hate-tasted segment while handing it back to a staffer. "It's only available until April 23, so... hurry?" he unwillingly advertised. He went on joking that following the Unicorn Frappuccino, Starbucks would launch another mythological drink called Minotaur Macchiato, which, according to him, would "gore" our tastebuds.

"The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" airs weeknights at 11:35 P.M. ET on CBS.
