AceShowbiz - As "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is coming closer to its U.S. release, a new tidbit on the movie is revealed. During one of the interviews on their press tour, director James Gunn and producer Kevin Feige say Miley Cyrus lends her voice to a character named Mainframe.
In the comic books, Mainframe is an android created by Tony Stark to keep his legacy alive when he hangs up his Iron Man suit. However, the character appearing in the second "Guardians of the Galaxy" is reportedly not the one made by the Stark Industries magnate.
The sequel is released stateside on May 2. Chris Pratt is back as Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon, and Vin Diesel as Groot. Michael Rooker also returns as Yondu and Karen Gillan as Nebula while Kurt Russell is added as Star-Lord's father and Pom Klementieff as Mantis.
Fun fact from the @JamesGunn @Kevfeige interview happening now! @MileyCyrus is the voice of Mainframe. #GotGVol2Event #GotGVol2
