AceShowbiz - "The Voice" season 12 kicked off the first night of its Playoffs on Monday, April 17, after previously wrapping up the Knockout Rounds. That night episode saw the performances of singers from both Team Alicia Keys and Blake Shelton, with only half of them advancing to the Top 12. Singers from Team Gwen Stefani and Adam Levine would flaunt their skills on the next episode, airing on Tuesday, April 18 on NBC.

First to take the stage was Casi Joy from Team Blake. She performed "Parachute" by Chris Stapleton, showing off her "accurate" and "high energy performance." Felicia Temple, who was previously eliminated, was brought back to the stage via the Coach Comeback and sang Wicked's "Defying Gravity". Blake praised her performance, simply saying that it was "incredible." Aaliyah Rose later took the stage to perform "Brass in Pocket" by The Pretenders and totally awed both coaches and audiences.

TSoul's performance followed shortly after, featuring him singing "Knock on Wood" by Eric Clapton. Blake seemed so pleased with TSoul's performance as he raved, "That's what performance is supposed to be about." Next up was Aliyah Moulden, performing "Mercy" by Duffy. The 15-year-old singer managed to blow Blake's mind as the country singer said, "You're such a firecracker onstage." Last to perform from Team Blake was Lauren Duski. Lauren nailed her performance of "Someone Else's Star" by Bryan White.

However, only half of them got to advance to the top 12. Voted to the top 12 were Lauren Duski and Aliyah Molden. TSoul joined Lauren and Aliyah after being saved by Blake. Casi, Felicia and Aliyah unfortunately had to go home.

Team Alicia was front and center next, featuring Chris Blue with his performance of "Love on the Brain" by Rihanna as the first performer. He delivered an amazing performance as he didn't change the key of the song which Gwen dubbed "unbelievable." Natalia Villaranda performed "Stand by Me" by Ben E. King next. "You have so much personality, you have so much feeling," Alicia praised Natalia. Comeback singer Jack Cassidy, meanwhile, tried his luck once again with a rendition of Elton John's "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me".

Vanessa Ferguson later delivered an epic performance of "Lean On" by Major Lazer & DJ Snake. During her performance of the up-tempo number, she flaunted her piano skills. Adam noted that she was ready for the big leagues ahead. Ashley Levin opted for a country song, "I Can't Stand the Rain" by Ann Peebles. Alicia was deeply impressed by her performance, saying that she loved Ashley's "super powerful and diverse" voice.

That night performances are rounded out by Stephanie Rice. Stephanie took the stage beautifully singing "Every Breath You Take" by The Police. Host Carson Daly revealed that America voted for Chris Blue and Vanessa Ferguson, while Alicia decided to give the final spot to Stephanie Rice.

"The Voice" season 12 airs on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 P.M. on NBC.
