The short sneak peek offers glimpses of Claire's life after her farewell with Jamie and how he tries to find his way back to her.
Starz debuted the first teaser of "Outlander" season 3 on Sunday, April 16 and it has now leaked online for all non-subscribers. The video opens with Claire and Jamie's farewell at the stones at Craigh na Dun, so she can return to the 20th century.
"Goodbye Claire," says Jamie. "I have lied, killed and broken trust, but when I stand before God I'll have one thing to say to weigh against all the rest... Lord, you gave me a rare woman." Jamie also promises that he will find Claire.
The rest of the teaser offers glimpses of Claire's life with her present day husband Frank Randall. Meanwhile, Jamie tries to find his way back to Claire after the battlefield of Culloden as he shouts her name.
The full trailer is expected to be released on Monday. "Outlander" season 3 will premiere this fall.
Based on "Voyager", the third of eight books in Gabaldon's best-selling "Outlander" series, the third season will chronicle Claire's struggles upon returning through the stones to 1948, as her marriage to Frank is at the edge of a split over the fact that she returned pregnant with Jamie's child. Meanwhile, Jamie in 1700s is trying to rebuild his life following Claire's departure. The couple will do anything to find their way back together through centuries and continents.
