ABC Sets Summer Premiere Dates for 'Still Star-Crossed', 'Bachelor in Paradise' and More

Also included in the summer schedule lineup are 'Celebrity Family Feud', 'The Gong Show', 'The Bachelorette', 'Dirty Dancing', 'Downward Dog' and the revival of 'Battle of the Network Stars'.

AceShowbiz - ABC has unveiled premiere dates for its summer lineup shows, which include the highly-anticipated Shonda Rimes' new drama "Still Star-Crossed". The list also includes the new season of "The Bachelorette" as well as the show's another spin-off "Bachelor in Paradise".

ABC's summer schedule opens with a sneak peek preview of new comedy "Downward Dog" on Wednesday, May 17 at 9.30 P.M. The show later shifts to its regular Tuesdays slot at 8 P.M. starting on Tuesday, May 23. Joining "Downward Dog" in May premiere schedule, the "Romeo & Juliet" sequel drama "Still Star-Crossed" is slated to bow on Monday, May 29 at 10 P.M. The series picks up where the Shakespeare tragedy ends, and follows the treachery, palace intrigue, and ill-fated romances between Montague and Capulet families.

Prior to "Still Star-Crossed", "The Bachelorette" season 13 is set to premiere on May 22 at 9 P.M. New season of the dating competition will feature Rachel Lindsay as the leading lady. ABC also sets "Dirty Dancing (2017)", a remake of 1987's "Dirty Dancing", on Wednesday, May 24 at 8 P.M.

June will see the third season premiere of "Celebrity Family Feud", which is set to air on Sunday, June 11 at 8 P.M. Series premiere of "Steve Harvey's Funderhome" quickly follows at 9 P.M. Meanwhile, "$100,000 Pyramid" will conclude the June 11 schedule with its season 2 premiere at 10 P.M. "To Tell the Truth" season 2 will premiere later on Wednesday, June 14 at 10 P.M.

Also set to premiere in June are "Boy Band", "The Gong Show" and "Battle of the Network Stars". The new reality show about boy bands are scheduled to premiere on Thursday, June 22 at 8 P.M. Talent show "The Gong Show" will premiere later at 10 P.M., while "Battle of the Network Stars" premieres on Thursday, June 29 at 9 P.M.

The 2017 ESPYS begins the July summer schedule on Wednesday, July 12 at 8 P.M. A week after the series premiere of drama "Somewhere Between", which is set to air on Monday, July 24 at 10 P.M., we will see the return of "The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All". The show will premiere on Monday, July 31 at 8 P.M.

Set to return in July for its fourth season is "Bachelor in Paradise" on Tuesday, August 8 at 8 P.M., following "CMA Fest 2017" which is slated to air on Tuesday, August 1 at 8 P.M. July will also see the premiere of ABC's docu-series tackling Princess Diana. "The Story of Diana: Part One" will air on Wednesday, August 9 at 9 P.M. and the second part will later air on Thursday, August 10 at 9 P.M. Rounding out the summer schedule is Time Period premiere of "Bachelor in Paradise" which is set on Monday, August 14 at 8 P.M.
