A 'technical issue' on the music streaming platform makes 'Sign of the Times' difficult to find for several hours on its first day of release.

AceShowbiz - Harry Styles's new single "Sign of the Times" faced glitches on Spotify on its first day of release. The highly-anticipated debut solo track from the One Direction member was not found on the music streaming platform on Friday, April 7.
A source tells Billboard that "Sign of the Times" was marred by a technical error for "multiple hours" on Friday afternoon, after it had debuted at 3 A.M. ET on Spotify and all other digital platforms.
The track was not found on Spotify either through search of the name "Harry Styles" or via the New Music Friday playlist, where it was set to appear, but it returned to the music streaming service as of Saturday morning and reached the top of the New Music Friday playlist.
A spokesperson for Spotify tells Variety that the glitch was "a technical issue for both Free and Premium." According to the rep, "there should be no further issue, though users unable to play this track need to reinstall the Spotify application to remove the cache."
"Sign of the Times" was co-produced by Jeff Bhasker. Harry will perform the song, as well as another new solo track, during his upcoming appearance on "Saturday Night Live" on April 15.
