Arnold Schwarzenegger Confirms He Won't Return for 'The Predator'
Movie

The 'Terminator' actor, who starred in the original 'Predator' movie, says that he has been asked to return, but he refuses to come back unless they rewrite the script.

AceShowbiz - Earlier on, many people questioned whether Arnold Schwarzenegger would make a cameo in Shane Black's "The Predator", considering he was the lead actor of the original movie. The "Terminator" actor, though, has confirmed that he won't make any return.

In an interview with Yahoo Movies, Schwarzenegger explained that he was actually asked to join the movie, but he chose not to do it because he didn't like the script. "They asked me, and I read it, and I didn't like it-whatever they offered," said Schwarzenegger. "So I'm not going to do that, no. Except if there's a chance that they rewrite it, or make it a more significant role. But the way it is now, no, I won't do that," he added.

Some fans later sent tweets to Black regarding the matter. The director has responded by saying, "... I spoke with him, I think it was that he didn't have enough to do. Enough presence in the film."

"The Predator" plot detail is still kept under wraps, but the movie is said to be set in suburbia. Black has revealed that it will be rated R and lead actor Boyd Holbrook dubbed the film "horror, science-fiction and a western." Also starring in the movie are Olivia Munn, Keegan-Michael Key, Sterling K. Brown, Trevante Rhodes, Jacob Tremblay, Thomas Jane, Alfie Allen and Augusto Aguilera.

"The Predator" has started filming and will hit U.S. theaters on February 9, 2018.
