The former Disney star collaborates with the 27-year-old country singer on a track off Thomas' upcoming album which is set to arrive this year.

AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez is confirmed to be featured on Thomas Rhett's forthcoming album. It looks like being a hugely successful model, movie actor and pop singer is not enough for Selena, so that she is now trying her hand at country music.
Besides Selena, Thomas' father, Rhett Akins, is set to be featured on the upcoming album. During a Q&A session at Outnumber Hunger Event, Thomas said of the album, "I've never written more than I've written in the last year, and so we had lots of songs to pick from. So the tough part is going to be narrowing them down for the album. My dad is featured on a song, which is pretty cool. I'm trying to be solely responsible for reviving his artistry career."
He also brought up his collaboration with Selena, saying, "We have this girl named Selena Gomez sing on a song on the record and she's pretty cool. I promise you, if I could collaborate on every song, I would. I love doing songs with different people and doing songs with friends. It's a very all-over-the-place record, that's for sure. There's songs on there. There's songs that are too crazy for anybody to ever play, but I think that's what I'm good at."
Thomas could be considered the king of country music as he recently won several titles at Academy of Country Music Awards 2017. He was named Male Vocalist of the Year and he also nabbed Song of the Year Award for his hit song "Die a Happy Man".
Aside from the music, the "Crash and Burn" hitmaker is currently expecting his first baby with his wife Lauren as they are in the process of adopting a child from Africa.
