The nearly-three-minute video features the brilliant 11-year-old boy, Henry, who's along with his mother and younger brother trying to save his classmate from her abusive stepfather.

AceShowbiz - The first trailer for "The Book of Henry" has been released. The nearly-three-minute video offers glimpses of Henry Carpenter (Jaeden Lieberher), a brilliant 11-year-old boy who is taking care of everything and everyone in his family. "Remind me again why we can't put you on a gifted school," says his teacher, who's mesmerized by his brain in the beginning of the trailer.

The footage also features Henry's mother Susan Carperter (Naomi Watts), his 8-year-old brother Peter Carpenter (Jacob Tremblay) and his classmate, Christina Sickleman (Maddie Ziegler), who happens to live next to his house. "The story is about me, my brother, my mom and the girl who lives next door," says Henry in a voiceover.

The trailer then jumps into a scene where Christina is telling Susan, "Henry and Peter, they lucky to have you." Susan replies, "And your father's lucky to have you too." Christina's face then turns bitter as she says, "Stepfather."

"Mom, I have to tell you something and this is very important," Henry tells his mom. "Christina is in trouble," he reveals. "When someone hurts someone else, we have to make it better. There's only one way to stop it," Henry says in a voiceover. "I'd hope to do it on myself, but that's not an option."

Directed by "Jurassic World" helmer Colin Trevorrow, "The Book of Henry" also stars Dean Norris as Christina's father Glenn Sickleman, Sarah Silverman as Sheila, Lee Pace as David, Bobby Moynihan as John and Tonya Pinkins as Principal Wilder.

"The Book of Henry" is scheduled to be released in U.S. theaters on June 16.
