New speculation of Sasha's fate on the series has arrived online, saying that it may involve a Holly scene from the comics with a little alteration as Sasha possesses poisonous pills from Eugene.

AceShowbiz - When it comes to which character is going to die on "The Walking Dead" season 7 finale, fans are almost fully certain that Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) is one of the goners. However, how exactly Sasha is going to meet her end is something that fans are curious about.
[SPOILER ALERT!] Sasha is currently being held captive by Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and there's almost no way for her to come out alive. None of her friends are coming to help her escape Negan, except for Eugene (Josh McDermitt). Although Eugene doesn't exactly help her escape, he gives her some poisonous pills after she asked him to help her kill herself.
Another reason which makes fans assume Sasha is going to die is that her arc this season is paralleled with a comic character named Holly. Holly is captured by Negan, though Negan offers to return Holly in exchange for a meeting with Rick. She is covered by a hood over her head when Negan is turning her over. However, when the hood is removed, it is revealed that Negan has killed Holly. Holly turns into a walker and bites Denise before being stopped by Rick.
Just like in the comics, fans expect the exchange scenario on the series, but instead the scenario happened on its spin-off, "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2. Although "Fear the Walking Dead" showrunner Dave Erickson previously revealed that its resemblance to the Holly scene was unintentional, it seemed unlikely that "The Walking Dead" would cannibalize its spin-off.
As the Holly scene is unlikely to happen, a new speculation over Sasha's fate has come from a Reddit thread. It is said that Negan may want to turn Sasha over alive, but Sasha has taken the poisonous pill from Eugene already. Both the Saviors and Sasha are unaware of each other's thought, so Sasha dies on the way.
The Saviors, without knowing the fact that Sasha is already dead and turns into a walker, release her. The next sequence is pretty much similar to Holly scene in the comics. Sasha bites someone, which fans assume to be most likely Eric (Jordan Woods-Robinson). After the chaos, the Alexandrians believe that it is Negan's plan all along to turn Sasha over dead and they start shooting at each other. The Reddit thread further assumes that Negan is aiming at the guns that Alexandria has, thus he is okay with turning Sasha alive.
Nothing has been confirmed until "The Walking Dead" season finale airs on Sunday, April 2 at 9 P.M. on AMC.
