The identity of mysterious monster that has been tormenting David since the beginning of the series has been revealed, putting an end to the longrunning speculations by fans.

AceShowbiz - After a long guessing, the mystery over the Devil With the Yellow Eyes identity are finally put to an end. Fans have been speculating that the devil who has been torturing Professor X's schizophrenic son David Haller (Dan Stevens) may be either the Shadow King or Proteus. The preview of "Legion" season 1 chapter 7, which aired immediately after Wednesday, March 15 episode, finally answers the mystery.

[SPOILER ALERT!] In the preview, it is revealed that the yellow-eyed devil is indeed Amahl Farouk a.k.a. The Shadow King. Although it has low quality and low audio, Oliver Bird (Jemaine Clement) can be heard saying to Cary Loudermilk (Bill Irwin), "I've been watching this David person and his monster." Cary replies, "Amahl Farouk, The Shadow King."

The revelation matches everyone's guess based on Cary's (Bill Irwin) remark which described David being infected by a parasitic mutant in episode 5. In addition, Farouk also says that he knows David's real father. However, there is no word saying it's Charles Xavier.

The recent episode six takes place in an alternate reality created by the devil. However, most of the characters later begin to realize that something is off and come to rescue those who are trapped on it. Much to David's surprise, Lenny (Aubrey Plaza), the institution's head psychiatrist, admits that she is actually the parasitic entity that has been latched onto him since birth.

FX recently picked up "Legion" for its sophomore season which is expected to kick of early next year. The "X-Men" spin-off series airs Wednesdays at 10 P.M. on FX.
