Celebrity

The West Coast Choppers founder recalls his failed marriage to the Oscar-winning actress which ended in 2010 after he cheated on her, saying that cheating 'is a part of life.'

AceShowbiz - Jesse James is looking back at his five-year marriage to Sandra Bullock in a recent interview. Seven years after the worst moments of his life, when Michelle "Bombshell" McGee and several women came forward to share their affairs stories with Jesse, he finally addresses the affair scandal.

"Yeah, I did cheat on my wife," Jesse tells Daily Mail about his marriage to the "Gravity" actress which ended in early 2010. Jesse, who dubs himself "glorified welder", continues, "Yeah, I stood up and took accountability for it and apologized. And that's the end of the story. Everything else was just... The easy [potshot] is like, 'Oh, well you cheated on Sandra Bullock.' That's the world's easiest comeback." The 47-year-old hunk adds, "In general, both women and men cheat. It's a part of life."

He goes on saying, "It's like people love to see you fall. And the farther you get, the higher you get, the more they love it. I look at myself now and I look at how I was feeling then, and I think I was completely overreacting as far as letting it really get to me."

He reveals that he has no contact with his then-wife Sandra as well as her son, Louis. Jesse and Sandra were in the middle of adopting Louis at the time of their divorce. However, Jesse opens up that he doesn't have any regrets about losing contact with both his ex-wife and her son. Jesse says that he "is happy with how life turned out."

Jesse is currently happily married to his wife number four, Alexia DeJoria. He tied the knot with the daughter of billionaire enterpreneur John Paul DeJoria in March 2013. Speaking of her, he tells the site, "I was like, I'm just going to be that old dude who's single now and never find anybody else, and then it's like-there she is." He adds, "We like the same stuff, the same music, the same everything. We like all these things. It makes me look back at other relationships and be like, I was an idiot! What was I thinking? That was never going to work. But I guess that's how you learn, you know."

During the interview, Jesse also gushes over his West Coast Choppers, which is originally a business specializing in custom motorcycle parts and completes bikes. It has expanded into a business of clothing and accessories, mostly featuring a logo resembling the Maltese Cross. He also develops several new ventures such as gun manufacturing business and a National Rifle Association clothing range.

He reveals that he wants to gift President Donald Trump his $25,000 gun. "I'm just not sure how I'm going to get it to him. I asked his people and they don't know either. They only just started this stuff so I guess they're still getting things figured out," he tells the publication.
