The singer whose real name is Joshua Tillman performs 'Total Entertainment Forever' and 'Pure Comedy' on his 'SNL' debut.

AceShowbiz - Father John Misty performed two songs on "Saturday Night Live". He delivered "Total Entertainment Forever" and later returned to the stage to sing "Pure Comedy" which questioned religion and politics. Both songs are taken from his upcoming studio album.

Released in January, his animated music video for the song "Pure Comedy" took aim at President Donald Trump with lyrics: "Where did they find these goons they elected to rule them?" and "What makes these clowns they idolize so remarkable?"

The 35-year-old singer whose real name is Joshua Tillman was introduced by Octavia Spencer for both of his performances. The March 4 episode marked his first time as a musical guest on the NBC sketch show. It was also Spencer's debut as a host on the show.
