The 'After Earth' actor and the 'Suicide Squad' actress will portray lovers in a romantic drama, which will begin filming this spring in Toronto, Canada.

AceShowbiz - Jaden Smith and Cara Delevingne are set to star in a romantic drama, "Life in a Year". The drama follows a 17-year-old boy (Jaden), who finds out that his girlfriend (Cara) is dying. He then decides to give her their entire life together, in the year she has left, Deadline has reported.
The film is directed by Mitja Okorn and produced by Marc Bienstock alongside Overbrook Entertainment. Meanwhile, Jeffrey Addiss and Will Matthews will pen the script for the drama. Production of the movie will begin spring this year in Toronto, Canada.
Jaden can currently be seen on "The Get Down", which will return to Netflix on April 7. His last feature film was "After Earth", which he co-starred with his dad, Will Smith. Jaden's movie credits include "The Pursuit of Happyness", "The Day the Earth Stood Still" and "The Karate Kid", starring Jackie Chan and Taraji P. Henson.
Cara recently starred in 2016's movies "London Fields", "Suicide Squad" and "Kids in Love". The "Paper Towns" actress will next be seen in "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets", which is set to be released in U.S. theaters on July 21, and "Tulip Fever", which is slated to bow on August 25.
