AceShowbiz - Does Lady GaGa want to be the next Barbra Streisand? Rumor has it, the "Million Reasons" hitmaker wants to follow in the footsteps of the 74-year-old songstress, who is the only artist with No. 1 albums in each of the last six decades.
According to sources, GaGa is obsessed with Streisand. "GaGa has built a little shrine to Barbra in her house. She listens to Streisand records constantly and watches her movies all the time," sources tell Naughty Gossip.
"GaGa doesn't want to follow in Madonna's footsteps, she wants to follow in Barbra's," continues the sources, "Babs is the only artist with No. 1 albums in each of the last six decades and she has a movie career. Which is Gaga's next big passion."
GaGa has just started pre-production on a remake of Streisand's hit film, "A Star Is Born", opposite Bradley Cooper. And now, she is reportedly even eyeing a remake of another Streisand movie, "Funny Girl".
The "Poker Face" hitmaker recently had a private dinner at Streisand's house where the latter allegedly gave the former a little career advice.
