Ben Affleck Reportedly Wants Out as Batman
Movie

According to Collider Movie Talk's host John Campea, three separate sources tell him that Affleck 'does want out' and 'doesn't wanna be Batman anymore.'

AceShowbiz - Since Ben Affleck announced that he wouldn't direct "The Batman", speculations about the movie keep emerging. Recent report said that "The Batman" script might be rewritten from scratch, but it was later debunked by another report that the script was ready and Affleck was so happy with it. A report about Affleck's replacement also surfaced, saying that Matt Reeves has been offered to helm the movie.

Now, comes another rumor which is even more surprising than the previous ones. Collider Movie Talk's host John Campea has just suggested that Affleck may not return as the Caped Crusader at all. According to Campea, three separate sources tell him that Affleck "does want out" and "doesn't wanna be Batman anymore."

"I have been told that Affleck is talking with Warner Bros. in an attempt to get out of being Batman," Campea says. "And if they do not let him out of being Batman, that the standalone 'Batman' film that ultimately happens will be the last time we see Affleck as Batman." However, Campea adds that fans should take the information with a giant grain of salt. Neither Affleck nor Warner Bros. has given a statement related to the report.

In the meantime, Affleck will appear as Batman in another DC movie, "Justice League", alongside Henry Cavill (Superman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Ezra Miller (The Flash), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Ray Fisher (Cyborg), Willem Dafoe (Nuidis Vulko) and Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor). The superhero flick is scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on November 17.
