Melissa Benoist's Supergirl Gets New Costume in 'The Flash' Musical Crossover

Look forward to Benoist performing a song in new Supergirl costume in the musical crossover featuring The CW's two superheroes.

AceShowbiz - Melissa Benoist and fellow "Glee" alum Grant Gustin will once again put their melodious talents on display in "The Flash" and "Supergirl" musical crossover. According to ET's Leanne Aguilera, Benoist will be sporting a new Supergirl costume in the crossover.

She took to her Twitter account to tease fans about the new costume. She wrote, "Fact: Melissa Benoist looks absolutely STUNNING in her musical crossover costume! No pics for now, but just WOW!"

EW's Spoiler Room also dropped a teaser for the musical crossover. Natalie Abrams coyly shared, "I can't tell you what, but I am gleefully humming a song I heard on 'musical crossover set, which is permanently cemented in my head."

Benoist and Gustin, who plays Barry Allen on "The Flash", will perform a song titled "Super Friends" in the musical crossover which will feature Darren Criss as the villainous Music Meister. Criss was spotted filming his part on the Vancouver, Canada set on Saturday, February 4.

The musical crossover will start on "Supergirl" on Monday, March 20 at 8 P.M. ET, followed by "The Flash" episode airing on Tuesday, March 21 at 8 P.M. ET on The CW. Meanwhile, a new "Supergirl" episode titled "Luthors" will air Monday, February 13 at 8 P.M. ET on The CW.
