The Emmy-winning actor says that playing Trump on the NBC sketch comedy show is not something that he can enjoy because the president is 'tense, angry and pissed off' and that's not fun to play.

AceShowbiz - It's no secret that the White House press secretary Sean Spicer is not a fan of Alec Baldwin's portrayal of Donald Trump on "Saturday Night Live". In response to Spicer's criticism, Baldwin says that Spicer only says what he needs to say because he is one of those people who works for the president.
"What is he supposed to say?" said Baldwin during an interview with Extra. "All those guys are working for Trump. They work for the president and they are going to say what they need to say to fit in... That's symbolic of where we're at - we repeat back everything that Trump says."
Spicer previously said that Baldwin's portrayal of Trump was mean. "Alec has gone from funny to mean, and that's unfortunate," said the White House press secretary. " 'SNL' used to be really funny. There's a streak of meanness now that they've crossed over to mean."
Baldwin also said that portraying Trump wasn't something that he could enjoy. "Playing him is not a lot of fun," he confessed. "He's tense, he's angry, he's pissed off and that's not fun to play."
The Emmy-winning actor continued, "Another thing I find that's so weird about the stuff we're doing, we're just repeating back what he says... Doing this is strange, but what is even more strange is this is real."
"Saturday Night Live" will return on February 11 on NBC, with Baldwin set as the host for the 17th time. In the recently-released promo for the show, Baldwin takes a walk down memory lane recalling the time from his other 16 times hosting the show. Additionally, Ed Sheeran will be returning to the sketch comedy as the musical guest for the second time.
