Several new photos from the upcoming season of the Netflix hit have been released, featuring Millie Bobby Brown's Eleven.

AceShowbiz - "Stranger Things" season 1 leaves us with many questions, including the disappearance of Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and what will happen to Will (Noah Schnapp) after being rescued from the Upside Down. Following the release of the Super Bowl spot, more sneak peeks and juicy details from season 2 are now revealed.

To Entertainment Weekly, co-creator Matt Duffer says Eleven's indeed back. "I want people to know that she's back and she's a major part of the season and not know how or why," he says of keeping her storyline a secret. "We do get into her story and backstory. We learn about where she came from and how she came into the world and the program that resulted in her."

Millie herself teases, "She has a storyline this season for her, and it's an emotional transition. Last season I didn't get to expand [on the character] - this season is giving me that opportunity."

As for Will who was rescued in season 1, all is not well with him. "He seems to be seeing images from the Upside Down-the question is whether they're real or not," Matt says. "So it seems like he's having some sort of post-traumatic stress disorder."

Will's mother Joyce (Winona Ryder) tries to make things stable for Will and his brother Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) by dating her former classmate Bob (Sean Astin). Winona explains her character's decision, "She's trying to mask a lot. I think she's made this choice with Bob because she wants a good father figure in her sons' lives."

Meanwhile, Chief Jim Hopper (David Harbour) tries to keep things a secret to protect Joyce and the kids. "It kind of falls on Hopper to be the voice of authority to say, 'This did happen and this didn't happen,' " David says.

The seeming deaths of Barb (Shannon Purser) and Eleven do affect siblings Nancy (Natalia Dyer) and Mike (Finn Wolfhard). "She and Mike are both the most screwed-up because they're the ones who both lost someone," says co-creator Ross Duffer. "They're both grappling with that, and we see the effects."

Season 2 will additionally introduce a "human villain" in the form of Billy (Dacre Montgomery), who has a sister named Max (Sadie Sink). While Max easily befriends the boys and attracts Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Dustin isn't friendly. "The evil in the real world is often as bad or worse than the supernatural evil, so we wanted to introduce a character like that," says Matt.

New photos from the second season have also made their way out via Entertainment Weekly, one of which features Dustin, Mike, Lucas and Will trick-or-treating on Halloween in their Ghostbusters costumes.

"Stranger Things" season 2 will arrive this year on Netflix.
