The new version will be featured in a 3-minute commercial video for Target, which will be aired on Sunday, February 12 during the 59th Annual Grammy Awards.

AceShowbiz - Carly Rae Jepsen teams up with Lil Yachty to release their new collaborative track "It Takes Two", which is the remake of 1988 classic song by hip-hop duo Rob Base and DJ EZ Rock. The new version was produced by Mike WiLL Made It and will be featured in a 3-minute commercial video for Target.

In a preview clip of the song, Yachty puts his own spin on Rob Base's verse. He can be heard rapping, "I wanna rock right now/ I'm Lil Yachty and I'm down if you're down/ I'm not the most lyrical kid known/ Yet I'm known to keep the party goin'." Jepsen and Yachty's "It Takes Two" will air on Sunday, February 12 as a commercial spot during the 59th Annual Grammy Awards.

"It was reaching from different worlds and coming together to make something that hopefully nobody would expect," Jepsen talked about the collaboration to EW. "It was a total blast. Yachty is a lot of fun, and Mike is incredibly talented, so the combo was unlike anything I'd done before."

During the interview, the "Call Me Maybe" hitmaker also gave some hints about her upcoming album. "I'm actually in Sweden in Stockholm in the studio. I'm just really enjoying being in the thick of it," she said. "I'd say there's a lot of work left to do, but I'm definitely finding some new sounds for me." She revealed that the album was inspired by Donna Summer and would feature many disco-inspired tracks.
