AceShowbiz - To hype up the upcoming release of "Beauty and the Beast (2017)", Walt Disney Pictures has released motion posters of the movie. The motion posters highlight the major characters, from the titular characters Belle to her prince to the talking teapot, Mrs. Potts.

They feature Emma Watson and Dan Stevens as Belle and the Beast respectively. The motion posters also give a look at Luke Evans as Gaston, the handsome yet petty man who loves Belle, and Josh Gad as Gaston's poorly-treated aide-de-camp, LeFou.

Along with them, several castle's magical creatures are also featured in the motion posters. They include Ian McKellen as Cogsworth the mantle clock, Ewan McGregor as Lumiere the candelabra, as well as Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts the teapot.

Alongside the motion posters, the studio also unveils some still posters featuring the major characters.

"Beauty and the Beast" is a live-action adaptation of the classic fairytale with the same title. Although the studio refashion the classic characters to fit the contemporary audiences, they keep the original music while updating the score with several new songs. The movie follows a bright and beautiful young women named Belle who is taken prisoner by a frightening beast in his castle. It doesn't take a long time for Belle to befriend with the castle's staffs and see the kind heart of the true Prince inside the Beast's hideous appearance.

Oscar-winner Bill Condon directs the movie, which is based on the 1991 animated film. David Hoberman and Tobb Lieberman from Mandeville Films produce the movie, with the music and score being composed by eight-time Oscar-winning composer Alan Menken, who won two Academy Awards for his work in the original animated movie. Menken also writes several new songs alongside three-time Oscar winner Tim Rice. "Beauty and the Beast" is slated to be released in U.S. theaters on March 17. The final trailer will be released on Monday, January 30.
