'The Flash' Set Photo Teases the Return of Robbie Amell's Firestorm

Amell shares a photo of him and Danielle Panabaker on the set of The CW series, offering a glimpse of his Firestorm costume.

AceShowbiz - Robbie Amell is back on the set of "The Flash". The actor has begun filming his scenes in an upcoming episode of The CW's series, after it was announced that he would return as Ronnie Raymond in the currently airing third season.

Teasing fans, Amell took to his Twitter page on Thursday, January 26 to share a photo of him and Danielle Panabaker, who plays his wife Caitlin Snow, on the set of the superhero show. "Back on set with the other wife. @dpanabaker Sorry @italiaricci #TheFlash," he captioned it. Amell was wearing a black jacket with a strap on his shoulder.

Ronnie's a former structural engineer for the S.T.A.R. Labs who was initially presumed dead in a catastrophic accident. He was then transformed into one half of the transmuted and conjoint metahuman called Firestorm.

Raymond previously appeared in season 2 in an episode titled "Welcome to Earth-2". Viewers got to see Raymond's Earth-2 doppelganger who was a villain named Deathstorm. But the character was killed by Zoom (Teddy Sears).

Since then, the other half of Firestorm, Martin Stein (Victor Garber), teams up with Jefferson Jackson (Franz Drameh) to form Firestorm.

"The Flash" airs Tuesdays at 8 P.M. ET on The CW. The show will also bring back Rick Cosnett's Eddie Thawne.
