AceShowbiz - Netflix has acquired an anorexia drama "To the Bone", written and directed by Marti Noxon. According to some sources, the streaming giant put the price for the deal in the $8 million range, making it one of the biggest at Sundance Film Festival this year.

The drama follows Ellen (Lily Collins), a young woman who makes a last attempt to conquer her severe anorexia by entering a group recovery home. She then meets an unconventional doctor named Dr. William Beckham (Keanu Reeves), who challenges her to face her condition and embrace life.

"To the Bone" also stars Alanna Ubach as Karen, Liana Liberato as Kelly, Kathryn Prescott as Anna, Ciara Bravo as Tracy and Alex Sharp as Luke. Lili Taylor and Brooke Smith also star in the film. The drama is produced by Bonnie Curtis, Julie Lynn and Karina Miller. It is executive produced by Andrea Iervolino, Monika Bacardi, Anita Gou and Matthew Malek.

Netflix has previously nabbed documentaries "Casting JonBenet", "Icarus" and "Nobody Speak: Hulk Hogan, Gawker and Trials of a Free Press". The streaming giant also made a deal for Jim Strouse's modern comedy "The Incredible Jessica James".
