The young opera singer, who sported a powder white coat, delivered a stunning live performance of 'The Star Spangled Banner' though she sounded slightly shaky.

AceShowbiz - Despite her controversial decision, 2010's "America's Got Talent" runner-up Jackie Evancho showed off her pipes while belting out "The Star Spangled Banner" at the conclusion of president elect Donald Trump's swearing-in ceremony on Friday, January 20. The singer was joined by the U.S. Marine Band as she stunned the crowd with her blissful voice.

Donning a powder white coat with the collar covered in jewels, Evancho gave a stellar performance though she sounded slightly shaky. The young opera singer chose to perform live instead of recreating Beyonce Knowles' highly criticized lip-sync performance during the 2013 inauguration of Barack Obama.

Social media immediately reacted to Evancho's performance. While some described her performance as "flat," other users said she was simply nervous. "I'm a huge fan of Jackie Evancho's voice but that USA anthem today was the weakest I have seen her perform ever, nerves I guess," a user wrote. Another user tweeted, "Yikes! The #NationalAnthem was painful to listen to. So flat @jackieevancho was definitely not their first pick for the #Inauguration."

Following her decision to perform at Trump's inauguration, the former "AGT" contestant received tons of backlash, considering she has a transgender sister. However she didn't let the hate get into her and rather looked upon it as a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity. "It's an honor to sing for my country, and that's all it is," the Pittsburgh native said during an interview with "Fox & Friends" on Thursday, January 19.
