The former couple walked away with two awards apiece as the pop icon won the Favorite Female Singer and Favorite Pop Artist, while her ex-beau nabbed the Favorite Male Singer and Favorite Song titles.

AceShowbiz - Winners of the 2017 People's Choice Awards in all 64 categories were announced during the ceremony on Wednesday night, January 18. Britney Spears was among artists who won big in the music categories, taking home two trophies for Favorite Female Singer and Favorite Pop Artist.

The singer/actress edged out Adele, Ariana Grande, Rihanna and Beyonce Knowles as well as other nominees like Justin Timberlake and Sia Furler in the two categories. Although he lost the Favorite Pop Artist title to his former girlfriend Spears, Timberlake nabbed the Favorite Male Singer gong. He also won the Favorite Song title for his chart-topping single "Can't Stop the Feeling!".

Country star Blake Shelton also walked away with two awards that night, including the Favorite Male Country Artist for the second year in a row. His tenth studio album "If I'm Honest" won the Favorite Album over other highly recognized albums like Drake's "Views", Rihanna's "ANTI" and Beyonce's "Lemonade".

Other musicians making up the winner list included Fifth Harmony (Favorite Group), Niall Horan (Favorite Breakout Artist), Carrie Underwood (Favorite Female Country Artist), Rihanna (Favorite R&B Artist) and Little Big Town (Favorite Country Group).

The 2017 People's Choice Awards aired on CBS from Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles with comedian Joel McHale as the host. In addition to handing awards to artists in music, TV and movie fields, this year's ceremony featured musical performances from Fifth Harmony and Shelton among others.
