The Disney/Pixar animated movie dominated the winner list with three awards, beating 'Captain America: Civil War' which led the movie nominations.

AceShowbiz - "Finding Dory" dominated the list of movie winners at the 2017 People's Choice Awards. The Disney/Pixar animated movie featuring the voice of Ellen DeGeneres earned the Favorite Movie Award, the Favorite Family Movie Award and the Favorite Animated Movie Voice Award for DeGeneres.

"Finding Dory" managed to beat "Captain America: Civil War", which led the pack with seven nominations. Though the Marvel superhero flick didn't get Favorite Movie and Favorite Action Movie titles, it earned Favorite Action Movie Actor for Robert Downey Jr., who portrayed Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man in the movie.

The Favorite Movie Actor Award went to "Deadpool" star Ryan Reynolds, with his movie earning the Favorite Action Movie Award. Meanwhile, the Favorite Movie Actress Award went to Jennifer Lawrence, who managed to beat formidable competitors including Scarlett Johansson and Margot Robbie.

At the award ceremony, Warner Bros.'s "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" was named Favorite Year End Blockbuster, with its actor Johnny Depp taking home the Favorite Movie Icon prize. Additionally, Tyler Perry was honored with this year's Favorite Humanitarian Award.

The award ceremony was hosted by Joel McHale at the Microsoft Theatre on Wednesday, January 18. It also handed prizes to winners in the music, TV and digital categories.
