Ali Fedotowsky on Corinne's Raunchy Acts on 'Bachelor': 'I Find That Truly Sad'

The former Bachelorette puts her two cents in Corinne's controversial and bold moves to impress Nick Viall on the ABC show, saying that she felt 'so sorry' after watching it.

AceShowbiz - Being a former "The Bachelor" contestant herself, Ali Fedotowsky knows a thing or two that women should or not should do on the show. And watching Corinne Olympios' raunchy acts in the currently airing season 21 is breaking her heart.

In the latest episode which aired January 16, Corinne tried to seduce Nick Viall by offering him to lick whipped cream off her boobs, but he rejected her advances. Seeing this, Ali writes on her blog, "At first, I rolled my eyes at what she was doing, like I'm sure many of you did. But after Nick got taken away by Jasmine, and Corrine went upstairs crying, I couldn't help but feel so sorry for her."

"She just took off all her clothes and threw herself at a man hoping she could win him over by doing that," she continues. "Little did she know, Nick wouldn't fall for her plan and in the nicest way he could, he rejected her advances. I can't imagine how horrible that must have made her feel."

Before viewers think that she defends Corinne, Ali quickly adds, "Look, it's her own fault, I get that completely. But for her to think that this is the way she wins a mans affection when he's clearly not in a monogamous relationship with her, I find that truly sad. Like heartbreakingly sad."

Ali says that it "would break [her] hear into a million pieces" if her daughter Molly acted this way when she's older. "I would never want her to even think this was an option, never mind actually throwing herself at a man like that. Corrine's tears really struck a cord with me. She reminded me of a girl that had just slept with a guy and woke up the next morning hating herself. I've been there. I know many women have," she says.

Ali hopes that "Corrine realizes that she can attract a man with so much more than her sexuality." All that said, Ali thinks "Corrine does make the show entertaining" and "she will be around for a while." She even predicts that Corrine will be in the next season of "Bachelor in Paradise" should Nick not pick her in the finale.

Nick himself has talked about Corrine's whipped cream advances. "If there is one thing Corinne never fails to succeed in, it is being full of surprises," he writes in a blog for PEOPLE. He goes on defending her, "But Corinne is bold, sexy and unique ... so I kind of just ran with it for a moment. I also want to point out she wasn't naked, even though it might appear that way."

"That evening also happened to be my birthday, and I think she was trying to channel her inner Marilyn Monroe. It was important to make sure Corinne was comfortable, but I didn't want to get too carried away with a cocktail party happening, not to mention just moving too fast in our relationship," he explains why he rejected her advances.

"The Bachelor" airs Mondays at 8 P.M. ET on ABC.
