The 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' actor was recently seen wearing Jaeger pilot suit, and his latest pictures offer more detailed look at his armor.

AceShowbiz - New photos of armored John Boyega are out. The pictures offer detailed look at Boyega's suit. Recently, the "Pacific Rim Uprising" actor was seen wandering in the same costume on filming set.

Boyega's armor is made from stretch fabric. Compared to Jaeger pilots' costume in the first "Pacific Rim" film, Boyega's suit looks a lot more adjustable.

In "Pacific Rim Uprising", Boyega plays the son of late Stacker Pentecost (Idris Elba). Other cast members include Scott Eastwood, Cailee Spaeny, Jing Tian, Levi Maeden, Adria Arjona and Rahart Adams. Recently, cinematographer Dan Mindel appeared to reveal the movie's returning cast through his Instagram post. It seems like Rinko Kikuchi, Charlie Day and Burn Gorman might return as Mako Mori, Newt and Gottlieb respectively.

The first "Pacific Rim" movie starts with Kaiju emerging from inter-dimensional portal on the bottom of Pacific Ocean. Humans unite to defeat the monsters by creating Jaegers, giant humanoid mechas controlled by two pilots. The movie follows the story of a retired Jaeger pilot who teams up with a trainee to save the world from apocalypse. The sequel's plot details haven't been announced yet.

"Pacific Rim Uprising" is set to be released on February 23, 2018. Guillermo del Toro is still producing. Steven S. DeKnight serves as director and writes the script together with Emily Carmichael, Kira Snyder and T.S. Nowlin.
