Executive producers Marlene King and Oliver Goldstick reveal that there will be some surprises in the final 10 episodes, including a musical number, a time jump and a reunion.

AceShowbiz - Freeform has launched a clip for "Pretty Little Liars" midseason premiere. The clip features Aria (Lucy Hale), Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Hanna (Ashley Benson), Emily (Shay Mitchell) and Alison (Sasha Pieterson) who get a present from the unidentified torturer A.D.

"Guys, Noel is dead," Aria says after opening the letter, which comes along with the gift. "Jenna is wandering around in the dark. This can't be real," she adds. "Noel's dead, but somebody else is out there," Alison replies. "Out there and just as crazy," Hanna adds.

At the TCA press tour in Pasadena, "Pretty Little Liars" executive producers Joseph Dougherty, I. Marlene King, Oliver Goldstick and Charlie Craig revealed that there would be some surprises including a musical number before the show's over. "All of them have incredible hidden talents and singing happens to be one of them," said Goldstick. "And I thought it was a shame that we didn't utilize that, and we found a way to platform it in one of the episodes in the last 10," he added.

There would also be a lot of returning characters as King said, "I think we ended up getting every single person." Goldstick quickly added, "Unless they're dead." King also revealed that there would be a one-year time jump before the series ends.

King then noted that the flashforward to Alison's classroom would come back into play in the latter part of the season. As for A.D., he/she would force the Liars to play a board game at one point with "incredibly high" stakes.

"Pretty Little Liars" returns with the final episodes starting Tuesday, April 18 at 8 P.M. ET on Freeform.
