'Riverdale' executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa teases that Sabrina has a big potential to appear on the series.

AceShowbiz - "Riverdale" is only two weeks away from debuting its first season. It will premiere on Monday, January 26 at 9 P.M. on The CW. But series executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa has another surprise for fans.
After previously confirming Jughead's (Cole Sprouse) appearance on the show, now Aguirre-Sacasa teased that a teenage witch named Sabrina may be featured on the show. "Some people don't even know that Sabrina is in the Archie family," Aguirre-Sacasa told Entertaiment Weekly.
Sabrina is a character who appeared on ABC sitcom "Sabrina the Teenage Witch". She was portrayed by Melissa Joan Hart. Based on Archie Comics creation, Sabrina is a teenager from Greendale, a town close to Riverdale.
"There is absolutely a universe where Sabrina pops up in Riverdale or one town over in Greendale," said the executive producer. "Certainly, the priority is launching 'Riverdale' and making sure that show is as good as it can be and as embraced as we want it to be," he added. "I'll just tease that Sabrina has potential with a capital P."
