AceShowbiz - Mariah Carey assures her fans that she's doing okay after her disastrous New Year's Eve performance. Following criticism over her lip-sync fail, the singer took to Instagram Wednesday, January 4 to share yet another sexy snap from her holiday in Aspen, Colorado.
The 46-year-old diva looked unbothered by the whole thing as she slipped into a golden swimsuit and took a dip in a hot tub. Sporting a messy bun and some diamond jewelry, she flashed a huge smile at the camera. "Aspen moments," she wrote in the caption.
Mariah had a terrible night when she was performing at "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve 2017". She lip synced her songs during the live show at the Times Square, but she couldn't find her place in the songs.
She has been on a war with Dick Clark Production since then. She accused them of sabotaging her performance for ratings, while the company blamed her for nor doing a check sound before she took the stage.
Recently, Mariah addressed her feud with DCP in an interview with EW, saying that she was left "mortified" by her onstage snafu. "All I can say is Dick Clark was an incredible person and I was lucky enough to work with him when I first started in the music business," she said. "I'm of the opinion that Dick Clark would not have let an artist go through that and he would have been as mortified as I was in real time."
