The 26-year-old Canadian singer tops the list after eight non-consecutive weeks at No. 2 behind Rae Sremmurd's mannequin challenge anthem 'Black Beatles'.

AceShowbiz - The Weeknd's Daft Punk-assisted single "Starboy" rockets to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week. The track follows "Can't Feel My Face" and "The Hills" as the Canadian singer's third No. 1 single and marks Daft Punk's very first entry in the top spot. Prior to this, the French EDM duo posted their highest-charting single yet with "Get Lucky", which featured Pharrell Williams and peaked at No. 2.

The new single tops the list after eight non-consecutive weeks at No. 2 behind Rae Sremmurd's viral song "Black Beatles" featuring Gucci Mane. "Starboy" reaches No. 1 in its 14th week on the Hot 100, surging by 49 percent to 86,000 downloads in the week ending December 22, according to Nielsen Music.

Meanwhile, "Starboy" stays at No. 3 on Streaming Songs chart and dips to No. 5 on Radio Songs chart. It nearly topped the December 17-dated Hot 100, narrowly held off that week by Sremmurd's "Black Beatles". On the new Hot 100, "Black Beatles" drops to No. 2 after topping the list for six weeks. However, it still tops Streaming Songs chart and leads Hot Rap Songs chart for a seventh week.

Rounding out the new Hot 100's top five are The Chainsmokers' "Closer" featuring Halsey, which bows at No. 3, and Bruno Mars' "24K Magic", which stays at No. 4. Meanwhile, Zay Hilfigerrr and Zayion McCall's "Juju on That Beat (TZ Anthem)" ascends to No. 5.

Ariana Grande's "Side to Side" featuring Nicki Minaj slips to No. 6, while DJ Snake's "Let Me Love You" featuring Justin Bieber and Maroon 5's "Don't Wanna Know" featuring Kendrick Lamar climb to No. 7 and No. 8 respectively. Machine Gun Kelly's "Bad Things" featuring Camila Cabello and Drake's "Fake Love" return to the top 10 as they rise to No. 9 and No. 10 respectively.
