The Princess Leia depicter wrote in her 2008 biography that she wanted her obit to be inspired by a funny exchange with 'Star Wars' director George Lucas.

AceShowbiz - Carrie Fisher had written her own obituary, years before her shocking death. The 60-year-old actress jokingly said in her 2008 memoir "Wishful Drinking" that she wanted her obit to be inspired by a funny conversation with "Star Wars" director George Lucas about her character's original costume in the 1977 film.

"George comes up to me the first day of filming and he takes one look at the dress and says, 'You can't wear a bra under that dress ... because there is no underwear in space,' " Fisher wrote. "I promise you this is true, and he says it with such conviction too!" she added. "Like he had been to space and looked around and he didn't see any bras or panties or briefs anywhere."

Fisher went on recalling that according to Lucas, "You go to space and you become weightless. ... But then your body expands??? But your bra doesn't - so you get strangled by your own bra." She then jokingly said, "Now I think that this would make for a fantastic obit - so I tell my younger friends that no matter how I go, I want it reported that I drowned in moonlight, strangled by my own bra."

Fisher passed away Tuesday, December 27 in hospital, days after she had a heart attack during a flight from London to Los Angeles. She and her daughter Billie Lourd reprised their roles as Leia and Lieutenant Connix respectively in upcoming "Star Wars Episode VIII".

Fisher had reportedly been working on a sequel to her HBO documentary "Wishful Drinking" prior to her death. She was going to produce "Wishful Drinking Strikes Back: From Star Wars to, uh, Star Wars!" with director Josh Ravetch attached to the project, which would chart her return to the "Star Wars" universe, 30 years after the conclusion of the original "Star Wars" trilogy.
