Several dozens of staffers have been or will be fired after they allegedly tried to illegally access the rapper's electronic medical records during his 8-day stay at the hospital last month.

AceShowbiz - Kanye West's hospitalization was a big deal, not only to his family but also to some employees at the UCLA Medical Center where he was staying. Some workers reportedly have lost their jobs there after they attempted to breach the rapper's privacy.

As we have known, Kanye was transported to the hospital late last month for a psychiatric evaluation. TMZ now says that a bunch of staffers tried to illegally access the rapper's electronic medical records during his 8-day stay.

After noticing the breach, officials at the Medical Center immediately launched an investigation. One source tells the site that several dozen people have been or will be fired. Meanwhile, another source claims that investigation is still ongoing and firings are expected. Kanye hasn't responded to the news, while UCLA Medical Center declined to comment.

The "Famous" rapper was admitted to the hospital days after he launched yet another rant on the stage and canceled the remaining dates on his "Saint Pablo" tour. He suffered from exhaustion, dehydration and what his doctor called an episode of "temporary psychosis."

Since released from the hospital, he's made appearances at multiple art exhibitions and had a meeting with President-elect Donald Trump. Most recently, he stepped out with wife Kim Kardashian to enjoy a dinner date at celeb hotspot Giorgio Baldi.
