AceShowbiz - Warner Bros. Pictures has finally released the first footage of "Blade Runner 2049". The ominous video sees the return of Harrison Ford as Rick Deckard as well as offers fans the first look at Ryan Gosling as L.A.P.D. officer K, who is a new blade runner.

The teaser opens with a narrator saying, "Replicants are like any other machine. They're either a benefit or a hazard. If they're a benefit, it's not my problem." It also sees K entering a building before Deckard points a gun at him while saying, "I did your job once. I was good at it." K replies, "Things were simpler then."

"Blade Runner 2049" is set thirty years after the events of 1982's "Blade Runner". It follows K, a new blade runner who unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what's left of society into chaos. His discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard, a former L.A.P.D. blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.

Directed by Denis Villeneuve ("Arrival"), the sci-fi thriller is set for an October 6, 2017 release in theaters across the U.S. It's supported by the likes of Jared Leto, Ana de Armas, Mackenzie Davis, Robin Wright and Dave Bautista.
